James Melchior

Scriptwriter

James has been writing, producing and performing theatre, film and television for 30 years. He is a graduate of the National Theatre Drama School and has worked with a variety of theatre companies including: Fata Morgana Theatre Co, Melbourne Arts Theatre, Melbourne Ensemble Theatre and the Renaissance Players.

Andrew Murrell

Lyricist / co-composer

After 40 years in the Entertainment and Arts Education industries as an Actor and Musician, Andrew became a full-time teacher. Approaching retirement from teaching, he is looking forward to expanding his writing career with more Music Theatre and other creative writing.

Luke serrano

co-composer/ orchestrator

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Luke is a professional musician with an abundance of experience in a range of capacities; as an art music composer, arranger of music of a wide range of styles, saxophonist, conductor, educator, event manager and executive producer.  

Released two albums of original compositions, scored for large chamber ensembles; Threshold (2004), Aeolus (2014)

Aeolus was adapted into a ballet by Dancebourne Arts in Pointe, Line and Surface (2015)

Composed score for the award winning Italian film Il Dottore Delle Bambole (2022)

Music performed by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and broadcast on ABC Classic FM and 3MBS radio

Luke has conducted several of his educational orchestral works on the Hamer Hall (Melbourne) stage

Composed incidental music to Melbourne High/Macrob production of The Crucible (1993)

A graduate in Composition of the Conservatorium of Music (University of Melbourne) (1998)
